It’s really weird Jackie didn’t want to tempt fate, but the first time we drove up to look at the house at  Appleton le Moors she felt at home. She didn’t say anything to me at the time, but the odd thing was that I was thinking the same thing. We are now officially villiage idiots as we know nothing about the village.
