The Long Barn sleeps 14 guests in seven en-suite bedrooms, so there’s no short straw when choosing rooms. It’s made for birthdays, gatherings of families and memorable stays with generous shared spaces, a large dining room for celebrations and a sunny courtyard garden.
With walks from the door, our welcoming village pub just 5 minutes walk away and dogs welcome too, it’s a wonderful place to relax and spend time together.

Annual walking group holiday
We have just returned from our fourth trip to the Long Barn and think that says it all. We are already booked for a fifth! This has to be the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. It’s a bit like ‘home from home now’! Lovely hosts, always available if there is an issue , in a beautiful village with fantastic walking from the door. Thanks Ian and Jacky for the great care you take in making this a very special holiday home.
Continues to impress !
After two terrific stays with friends and one with our extended family we continue to be impressed with the house and the owners. They have great attention to detail and provide such a welcoming environment. They are responsive to feedback and are so helpful. Through them we found Dan Graham the personal chef and enjoyed his food on each occasion we stayed. We can thoroughly recommend the Long Barn as a great place to stay.
